Just Beat It

I wasn't a huge car enthusiast until I inducted my profession in Automobiles. My dad tells me the story of my grand-dad's red Ford Prefect, which was used like a  family-transit van! My dad shows me that vintage picture, which I remember to every pixel. My dad keeps telling me he wants to get a 800. To my memory, 800 was my dream-car too in my college days, then I was eying the Alto. Thats the so called 'Couples Car'. I liked it, until I was employed by General Motors!! GM changed the way I looked cars for. Definitely, I re-vamped my desires and dreams. The famous 3C legend hit me (Corvette, Camaro & Cadillac). And as the first stone, I was aligned to get a Chevy, although a micro thought pressured me, that to relive the family-legend, to buy a Ford and bridge the gen-gap. With no much difficulty, I chose the Beat, for the looks, for the looks and for the looks as always. This car has a character, macho feel, that I can't explain in lines. Having booked a Beat, now I'm restless for its delivery, just go sleepless to hold the wheel. My wife tells me, "MJ's Beat It" should be the first song to be played in our first car. My 7 years car dream is a candid story I always remember to cherish myself.
